Treatments
IPL Acne Clearance
Most of us experience acne to some extent during our lives. For many people it is a short term annoyance, but others develop more long-term and more severe acne. Acne occurs when one of the skins natural oils - sebum - is unable to leave the skin because the hair follicle is blocked. This may result in a blackhead, or a whitehead, and can lead to the growth of bacteria below the surface of the skin. Inflammation can occur, and rupture of an inflamed area can lead to scarring. The treatment works by directing well-controlled pulses of light into the upper skin layer. The light is absorbed by the body's own natural chemical - haemoglobin - and effectively reduces the blood supply to the sebaceous gland, which slows down the production of sebum.

IPL Wrinkle Reduction RF
Wrinkle therapy is a treatment of the skin to give the maximum collagen boost to push out even the deepest lying wrinkles. The heat from the light is attracted to the melanin/oxy-haemoglobin in the blood. The heat reaction breaks down melanin and coagulates the blood within the area. This then leaves the body through the lymphatic system leaving the skin with a clearer complexion. The heat that is also created within the epidermis and dermis makes the skin react as if it has had an injury. The blood and collagen rush into this area to repair it leaving the skin with a smoother appearance.

Pigmentation Treatment
Pigmentation Therapy is the treatment of skin that has uneven skin tone due to age spots, sun spots and hyperpigmentation. This treatment fades and removes the excess pigmentation restoring the skin to an even, clearer tone. This treatment will also refresh the complexion as well as giving a collagen boost within the skin.
